The Story of Harry
A man in grief turns a gun on himself while his friend tries to pull him back.

No, No. You don’t understand. She was trying to make amends. She knew what she did was wrong and all she wanted was a chance to prove that she deserved a new life as much as the next criminal who gets one. And this city opened up like a bottomless chasm and swallowed her whole. And you still think this is fair? James was screaming in the rain. A gun in his hand and droplets of water getting mixed downstream of tears on his face.
I do understand that James. What happened to Lily was not your fault. It happens. The world is cruel sometimes. But this is not the time for you to give in to your anger or resentment. It was not your fault. You have to calm down.
You weren’t there Thomas. She was happy. And the next moment she was gone. You still want me to stop this? James changed his aim. Now with the gun aimed at his temple James knew what’s next for him.
I’m gonna meet her on the other side, Thomas. This is it. Everything about us will end here. James cried at Thomas.
What about your child James? Thomas asked calmly.
Harry? Well, fuck him. I don’t wanna see his face. His eyes remind me of her. Fuck It. James told as he pulled the trigger. Thomas couldn’t do anything else but watch another one of his best friends die in front of his eyes. First It was Lily and now It’s James. Thomas knew that this was gonna be the result. James was never in his right mind and Thomas regretted that he couldn’t do anything to prevent it.
All he could do now is to hold on to the memory he has of their friends. His eyes went back to the child he was holding. He wasn’t even crying.
It’s okay, Harry. Let me tell you a story about a Magical world and Wizards.
You’re gonna love it.
