Why Do You Keep Coming Back to Me?
A confrontation strips away the difference between love, pity, and the need for validation.

“I Loved you.” She insisted.
See, That’s where you’re wrong. you never loved me. you thought you did, but you didn’t. you were looking for validation. at that moment of your life you needed someone weaker or unfortunate than you. you wanted someone to suffer more than you. i was the scapegoat in your quest to find such a victim.
whenever you feel down or insecure you would ask me how my day was, Because you knew my day would’ve been shittier than yours was. it always was.
and then with the time i was moving up through life, i was getting in to good communities, good job, friends that you couldn’t tolerate, i was moving away from your criteria. then your fits, tantrums grew to the point that i had to leave you.
and I did.
So, let me answer my question to you. “Why do you keep coming back to me?”
Because, you still keep seeking that validation from someone. but this time, this time i know better. i am better.
So, sorry that i loved you, even if you didn’t.
